Caspar

Caspar has been a successful global professional for over 25 years. His businesses have taken him from the financial sector in Atlanta, New York, London, Frank furt and Zurich to his most current path in the entertainment business in Los Angeles.

Caspar began his quest for the arts at an early age while growing up in London and continued his education with a magna cum laude degree in Liberal Arts from Vassar College in upstate New York. He developed his sense of business through a rigorous career in investment banking having held senior positions at major financial institutions including Morgan Stanley, Bank of Nova Scotia, Dresdner Kleinwort Benson and lastly as a senior executive forJ.P. Morgan. During his tenure in the IB world, Caspar raised a total of over US$1.8 billion in equity financing and brought to market some of the largest capital market transactions in the Biotechnology sector, including the highly successfulInitial Public Offering of Genetech.

Caspar retired from the financial sector in 2003 to attend the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. From there, Caspar became President of Celebration Pictures where he produced several films with some of today’s top actors under the mentorship of the late Academy Award winning producer John Daly. In 2006 he formed his own production company Fortune Films LLC, under whose banner he has produced a plethora of successful independent Hollywood motion pictures.In 2010 Caspar formed Institutional Media Investments where he, together with his partner Jon Karas, served in an advisory capacity to several film funds, including Hemisphere Capital which financed several Hollywood Blockbusters including ‘Men in Black 3’, ‘The Adventures of Tintin’, ‘The Smurfs’ and ‘World War Z’.
